    This courageous young boy lost his battle with cancer recently. Lived very close by, next neighborhood away. Really brings life into perspective and makes you think about the things in life that matter. I did not ever have the pleasure to meet Elijah, but my son did. Happened to be playing outside the day they had the Halloween party for E, a month early because he wasn't supposed to make to the real Halloween. Cam Newton showed up to show support that night.

    A lot about life and enjoying it is being grateful. I complain way too much about what I don't have, what isn't going right, how I am inconvenienced because the grocery line is slow etc.....I can't imagine a parent going through this.
