Oh, so this is probably not a good enough set up to air up tires? Because it looks sweet

Mr Lobster, I would imagine any welding supply store would fill it for you.

Is that 1050 a twin cylinder? If so, yes. Mine works great.

1050 attaches to battery the other doesnt. Get the 1050 from pepboys when they have a 25% coupon out there.

My tires run 28 full, I drop to 15 when on the beach. Fillup back to 28 takes around 2.5-3 minutes per tire.

    EDITED: Models are different!

I built the same ting (minus the 1gal tank) for about $560 in parts! It blows up my 33" tires from 20PSI to 40PSI in 1 minute, 5 seconds per tire!

TO be helpful to the OP, I recommend the entry level Viair products, and connect it to the battery for best performance!

MasterFlow 1050 doesn't fit. By a pair of inches.

Missed it by that much.... Although I'm sure with a little bit of trimming you could make it fit to the point where you could even put the door on. And if you were to then somehow permanently wire it to the battery with some sort of switch in that little cubbyhole that has the potential to be awesome

It's a solid 2 inches. Even if you remove the feet from the base (and obviously remove the carry handle, it would be too big by an inch.

The housing and gauge would still not allow it to fit.

I put mine on the passenger side, with a tire plug kit and some basic hand tools. It's a great use of space.

I was thinking you might have enough room if you cut the plastic in that little cubbyhole and fabricated some sort of bracket to hold it in place? Permanently mounted in the bed would be awesome and leave all the room behind the backseat available for recovery gear and stuff like that
