I used one of those last year and I have it available if you want to buy it, I went with a 1 piece double cardon drive shaft so it is just sitting in my garage now. The solid bearing is great in that it makes the driveline feel so solid and it is bullet proof but two big factors you need to be aware of :

    1. You have to cut the OE carrier bearing mounts off of the cross member and custom mount the new solid bearing. The OE style beari has the mounting tabs in the middle and that bearing mounts off the bottom edges so it would sit way to low on the OE cross member mounting tabs.

    2. Because it is a solid bearing without any rubber bushing you will feel a driveline " hum " permanently. Solid bearing mounted to solid cross member mounted to solid frame...

Not a big deal but after you make a custom perch for it you will need to buy some bolts and nuts to fit it.

I was thinking about using a bushing of some sort between the frame and bearing to help reduce that hum.

I'd consider buying yours. Depends on what you want for it. Got some pics as well?

I don't have any issue with customizing mounts either. Just want that vibration gone.

I had considered that too, using a hard urethane washer between the bearing and the cross member. I would take $75 shipped for mine which would save you about $50. It does make your driveline feel so much stronger. Here is a pic :

How long did you end up running this bearing?

I had the same low speed vibration on take off up to about 15mph sense the lift was installed. I noticed that about 2 years later when my rear springs started sagging real low, the vibration went away. Now that my rear suspension has been freshened up again, the vibration is back. SO it's obvious the vibes have a lot to do with angles on the carrier bearing or U-joints. I don't think just replacing either of them will fix the issue, sense I had the issue when the truck was still relatively new. Maybe a deeper drop kit on the carrier bearing?

You don't want to drop the carrier too much because then you mess with the angle of the drive shaft coming straight from the transfer case. I'm going to try this solid carrier option and finagle with it til the vibration is gone. Will post updates with progress. Check my build thread for any updates. I'll probably post there.

Do you have any pics of the one piece driveshaft? I figured that's the best option in the long run. I actually have less vibes with my PC lift then I had with the 3" lift.
