So here are my timing marks. Now that I see them again they look good to go.

Hey @Squeaky Penguin I saw this. I'm going to have to take off the belt and reset it right. I wish I would of noticed this before hand.

Oh yeah you gotta line that belt up with the top cams too. Did you do that originally? Also note that if you manually turn the crank twice, even though everything should line back up, the belt markings will not.

Clearly the cams are lined up with the crank. Like cynicalrider said, turn the crank twice, and if it lines up again, you're done. Markings on the belt help with making sure you have the correct number of teeth in between the cams on install, otherwise they don't really matter.

So when I do the two full rotations do I follow the crank pully two full rotations? That is what I'm assuming but I don't want to make any more mistakes.

That's great! The screwups and workarounds are the most helpful to the rest of us in many cases. This thread is like my daily newsletter lol:oops:

I went by Yoda Jim's and picked up some tundra CV's. Then took them over to CVJ axles to get rebuilt and have silicone boots put on. Thanks to @steezemcqueen for the tip  I'll post pics on friday when I pick them up.

Soon... maybe later. I'm still gathering parts and the list is long. I ended up loosing the fitting on the resi so I can get them where I want them. Not a big deal really. I'll hit you up when I need your expertise.

Why didn't you get new from napa? Lifetime warranty. Wondering if I missed something.

I never looked into napa. Im not a napa guy either. I was at Insain talking to Dylan and he mention that the best route to go was with CVJ and reading up on them. It seemed promising. Now this is all word of mouth and I have no experience with CVJ. I trust Dylan and he has a lot of experience with things like this. So it's worth a try. There isn't much your missing. It is an experiment for me for the long travel. We shall see.

Good stuff. I'm about ready to tear into my front. Got to get the big balls out for it and know my truck will prolly sit on stands for a week. Kinda anxious and worrisome until it's all on and working. But when it is............
