ProComp Feelings

How do you guys and gals feel about ProComp tires, rimz, lift kits... all there products in general.

I am thinking about the 6" lift kit (http://procompnow.com/Store/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=1_4&products_id=110) or somethin along those lines.

All feedback welcome pos or neg about 6" lift and ProComp products.

I have heard only good things so far...

 

I am not a fan of 6" lifts. Thats just me though.

Personally, I think the Procomp 7089 wheels are some of the best looking wheels out there.

I have heard bad about their M/T tires though. I hear they are squirrely on the road.

Just got off the phone with a friend of mine that used to work for a local shop for about 8 years doing lifts and whatnot. He said in his opinion the Pro Comp lift is extremely nice. He really likes the stage 2 and said the ride is awesome. Said he prefers it over the Fabtech. Ill be going with the Pro Comp. Trying to dig up the funds to get the stage 2.

 

any idea how many hours it takes to install stage 2 lift?

 

Not too sure. Of course it probably depends on experience and skill of the installer. If I was going to install it, it would probably take me 2 days because I have never done it. Taking it to somebody who knows what they are doing, they can probably get it done in a few hours. Should be able to be done in one day at a shop that knows what they are doing.

 

It took 4Wheel parts 2days to do my lift and re-gearing... I think the procomp stage to lift is great and i'm very pleased with the choice I made. I bought the extended warranty with the lift and I had a few thinks break and 4wheel parts fixed the problems with no questions asked. I also added the steering stabilizers and traction bars and my truck rides like a Cadillac... With the exception of my tires that "HUM" my Loud exhaust and my Clicking locker and barking tires,
