Not really many options for link size or length of the link regardless of link style is dictated by the driveshaft plunge etc. if the CO and bypass are going to the link it must be a canoe or flat link and if you run a secondary bypass on a short bed you can kiss all trail flex goodbye unless you completely back half your frame and narrow it a lot. The only other style of link is a tube link crawler style but then your CO's go over the top of the axle with a big shock tower through the bed over the wheel well. Even with tube links they have to be long to properly work with your driveline, anti squat, roll center etc etc. Check out @JLee 's build if you want to see an example of a properly set up tube link rear end...first gen but you will get an idea of how long the links are. Basically what I am trying to say is that with a 3 or 4 link you don't pick what you want, you build what fits the truck and the style of driving you want to do. You have very narrow windows to play within for placing links, pivots, 3rd's etc they all have to fall within pretty small tolerances to perform properly.

Those are the 315/70s on the sport wheel (7.5inches wide)? No issues mounting or anything?

Im wondering if a 295 would fit alright on my stock offroad wheels (7inches wide) then. Spacers would be cheaper than wheels for the time being.

295's would be ok. Look at 285/75/17's they're pretty much 34's and actually taller than a 295. when aired down they leave a good foot print too.

Correct. No issues mounting them on the stockers whatsoever. I ran the same setup before I switched over to the countersteers.

    That's correct.

you'd be fine with 295s on a stock off road wheel. while the wheel is a half inch narrower than the sport, a 295 is 2 cm narrower than the 315, which is closer to an inch.

I ran 295s a number of years ago. Nitto Terra Grapplers. they were actually my second set of terrra grapplers. if I ever went back to an all terrain, that'd be the first tire I look at. absolutely loved them.

Looking at Nitto now and the 285x75r17 is only available in the Mud Grappler not any of their ATs according to their site. So for that, I'm wrong. My apologies.

You can find 285x70r17 in almost any manufacturer of any tire from AT to MT.
