    I've had 5100's with ome 885's for 3 years now. Settled at about 2.25 inches of lift. Street manners feel stock if not better and I've also got countless wheeling trips including moab and also a lot of straight abuse including jumps and I haven't had any problems so far. Definitly a recommended and affordable set up

    It used to be nice till they took over along with every thing else that's mixed in with. The Ocean county police academy is inside Ocean County Park and they have been trying to buy that for years

    I have to disagree with the last part of your statement. They are a relatively inexpensive upgrade but you can wheel the fucking piss out of them with no issues. I ran 35's on a 5100 lift with stock UCA's and hit blacks at Rausch.
    Are the the best choice for that type of wheeling - no. Do they get the job done - yes.

    True, I do and plan on continuing to wheel the piss out of mine, but obviously I'd prefer an extended travel coilover with remote resi like a ADS/King/Icon. Not sure how many 2nd genners have had issues but some first gens have had the 5100's leak on them. Granted they are a wear item just like any other shock and since they aren't rebuild-able they would need to be replaced. And most of the ones that did have issues beat the piss out of them out west on hundreds of offroad miles.
