i calculated that i needed 8" but i havent ordered yet. what did you order?

 

I did some rough measurements and it seemed like 8" would be a hair too long and even worse after it stretched. Went with 6" (custom order). I have my clevis mounts adjusted all the way up too, so I took into account having them lower.

yeah i was afraid 8 might be too long so i will order after i get the mount mocked up.

Kartek has a 7" strap that I'm also looking at.

i think i measured 8" droop just before the tie rod ends caught the weight of the arm assembly so that might still be too long to keep the CVs happy.

 

I think you're confusing leaving it out in the rain with giving it a bath..

Aem fic 6, thx man. Its freaking amazing. But I'd recommend a stand alone. I get little hesitations from time to time driving normally, but nothing worry some.

 

Just to double check before I order, 255/85-16 will barely rub on factory (03) wheels, correct?

 

are you talking about frame rub or wheel well?

 

Frame rub, I expect a little bit (About the same as with 265/76-16's), wheel well shouldn't rub much.

 

nope she bolted right to the frame nice and easy. are you thinking at where those cross bars tuck under the rear corner panel? ... if so no you don't have to. I also thought that too when I first seen it. I had to remove my factory hitch tho in order to have my bumper. I don't tow anything and plus my truck is to jacked up anyways to do so.. so I said screw it.

 

Looks good, how do you like the KO2's?
I'm mainly interested in wet pavement and mud performance.

 

well I live in Vancouver a damn rain forest. they seem to be great so far. I have yet to take them out in the mud. I've seen some but not enough to make a review on them. been to busy with work and fine tuning my build.
