Norcal Spotted and BS Thread

Been married just over eight years now... Our families have finally stopped asking when we're going to contribute to the population!
...now we're thinking it's time. Getting some more travel out of the way first though.

 

Best thing to ever happen to me. Happened a lot earlier than I was planning, but being a dad is the most rewarding job. It's tough to willingly give up your freedom, bank account and bedroom life, but you'll love it.

On another note, I love my child, wait till your 30's I did and it turned out well. Sleep is something that goes, and so does money for toys... Just saying. I would never trade it off, but I miss some of my motorcycles and the freedom to take trips throughout the western U.S. with my buddies on them.

Woman keeps asking about kids. I'm 28 she's 24 (damn right I robbed that cradle). I told her I want to be married (may16) and buy a house before we "try" and around 30 would be perfect.

 

^ Roughly the same boat except shes 33 now. But I didnt want to marry before 25 and didn't want kids until at least 28 and wanted a solid job and a house before we started trying. 2014 was a great year for me.

 

Yeah we went the Russian roulette approach and the house won...haha kind of made the decision for us and my wife was 21 at the time. I love being a young dad though, but the finances aren't the best that waiting would have helped with.

Not bad. I dislike most kids. I have minimal patience and kids test every last oz I have. I don't even think she can even have one after all her major surgeries but we will see eventually.

 

Nope not one bit. I've been around kids all my life and always felt comfortable/enjoyed my time with them so it was a no brainer to eventually have kids. I have a friend that has no desire at all and it's his choice. There are advantages to both, just have to decide which ones you prefer.

 

I was never a huge fan of other peoples kids. I still can't stand other peoples kids going nuts or out of control, but I'm starting to understand a little bit. I still get pissed at parents who just let theirs kids go nuts with no care for anyone else around

 

Yea I'm stoked on being an uncle, my two sisters are cranking them suckers out, who else is gunna teach em the sketchy fun stuff and still keep all thier fingers intact afterwards?

 

Anyway, anyone change a front main crank seal on these 2nd gen v6's? Seems easy enough right?

 

Ok this is getting a little ridiculous, Clutch slip in 6th gear? Come on now. I'm in 6th on the way to work today, I go to pass someone, just give it a good 1/2-3/4 throttle and rpms spike until I let off the gas. Was going in for an oil change and see about new windshield seals tomorrow, guess I'm taking them for a test drive to see the dying clutch at 5k miles.

 

Too much
