I thinking about updating my sound system in my 2008 double cab. For the ones who put a subwoofer in the back of the cab, what will fit? I was looking on JL audio website and seen they have a 13.5 thin line sub. it called the 13TW5-3. i wonder if it would fit. thanks

If you have to save up, its expensive but i love mine. I would go straight JL the 13tw5 sub and jl 500/1 amp. I have had that setup since about the middle of august and I love it.

The clarion Slim line subs do a great job too, not in the same class as the JL's, but not anywhere near the $$ either.

    ^^^

99% sure he means the 13tw5...

    i doubt you could even fit a 10w7...let alone a 13w7

the mounting depth on those things is like 10-12 inches...and they require a LOT of airspace... he would have to do something CRAZY custom

Which sub to pick? What would Mr. Marv say for a 2008 DC...?

Is $420 a good price for it?

Here you go,bought it from a local dealer paid around $400.00,and I made the sub box my self out of mostly fiberglass the front is 5/8 mdf with a layer of glass on the back I recessed it back a little to allow room for the speaker to flex and its molded around the back wall of the cab.:D
