Curious how that works though, do they figure Clemson is 1 and then like Clemson ad gets invited back in from the hall and get to discuss the rest of the team?

As I said earlier in the the thread, now that FSU can't make ACC championship I have no issue rooting for Clemson to win it. Just means more money in FSUs pocket at the end of the year.

 

Much better to keep the conferences we have (though, adding 2 to make the Big 12 the Big 12 again) and expanding the playoffs to 8. 18 teams in a conference is too damn many, IMO.

I think he'll put up 150+. It will be interesting to see how well Bama defends a dual threat.

We struggle against quarterbacks like Dak, but Henry is a f'king beast. I think it'll end up close to the line: 7pt win for Alabama.

If i was dak i would just throw to who ever c. jones is guarding, since he will either catch it over him or have a pass interference call and pick up a 1st down anyway. he will not turn his head, and could have had a few picks last week if he would have. Our best shot is gonna be rushing that pass like we did again lsu and im not sure if that will work since dak is actually a passing threat. I too see henry having close to 200 yards, i mean we let him carry it 38 times last week so why slow down now? too much of a good this is a great thing right?

 

I think Henry had more yards in the LSU game than Moo St RB has had for the entire year...

Alabama rushed the pass on 1 play against LSU. It resulted in a touchdown.

 

I don't think our game plan will be the same against a good QB. I hope not, anyway.

More than likely, the line will play a more contain type of scheme. Probably with a dedicated Dak handler, (spy).

Probably bring different zone blitzes on certain yardage/down situations.

 

I would like to see Bama find a way to be productive on broken plays on the defensive side of the ball. Typically, Bama does pretty well containing and removing options. However, once the play breaks down, players like Dak, Cam, and Manziel have typically had success improve-ing. While Cam and Dak are the type to make a play, Manziel typically got lucky. Same with Chad Kelly.
