Gotcha.. it would be a nice thing to have, but it would be pretty difficult to spend that on a wiring harness.

Now that I have a tablet for MVUM's I would imagine there would be a cheaper way to integrate some cameras into that.

So mCat is there two different harnesses? One from aliexpress and one from camera source? Also what camera did you end up going with and do you have a pic of it on your truck?

I only have the one from camera source. I'm waiting on a price and info about the harness camera source is going to make. I was told they would be making two harnesses. The camera I had before looked crappy sticking out super far from the satoshi grille so I'm waiting on a new one to come in

Is the harness likely to be 269$ like it was saying a few posts back?

That I'm not sure about. Maybe the one that allows you to use two additional cameras, but I was told there would be one additional kit that would just be for one additional camera as well.

Would definitely be interested in this with the factory camera/HU. I have the JBL system. Any help would be appreciated.

Hey guys just heard back from Chris from Camera Source he said:

"$275 complete with front camera. Retail is $225 for the module and another $134 for the front cam so that saves them $84. The front cam is our dual mount license plate system (comes with license plate mount and another universal mini mount) and the quality is excellent."

This is for group buy pricing

I have just found this thread. Can someone explain the kit?. What it includes and price, and from whom we purchase it.

    Thanks

The kit includes the module that you need for adding the additional camera. You can get them from camera source.com. There are two kits, one for adding one additional camera and one kit for adding two additional cameras.

The pricing for a group but I haven't gotten from the guy I was talking to other than the prices posted earlier.

Can you tell me what camera at camerasource, and who we contact for the harness.
There have been so many threads and have not been able to piece it together.

    Thanks

Where is everyone putting their cameras? I've got a flush mount camera (BossCAM22) and am debating about drilling my bumper to have a straight shot

The thing is, you want to be able to see the bumper in the frame, which you can't do if the camera is mounted on the bumper.

I suppose if your goal is to look under the truck for clearance off roading it might be different.

I've been interested in a front camera for spotting myself over obstacles.
For that, I'd need to see the passenger front tire.
I'm not sure if I can find a practical place to mount the camera to achieve that view but I got a go pro session for Christmas (small cube camera) and I can see what the camera sees with an app on my phone.
I'm going to try and find some rare earth magnets to mess with mounting options.

Yeah I was thinking of using it for more parking aid since I can't see my bumper over the hood
