    I got the black plate and it looks great on my black Tacoma. It gets a lot of positive comments from people, especially old-schoolers with the original plate. It only has 6 characters versus the common seven characters found on most plates!

    They sent the new plates in the mail. I returned my old ones to the DMV.

    I opted for the local AAA, alot less crowded. Not sure but I thought you had to pick them up for exchange. Maybe just personalized?

    My registration has always expired in December. Got the plates a little over a month ago and its about time to renew. My new plates (personalized - fee by itself added $40) is $189 - but then again I have a 2007.
