Please hold off all of the “Spacer lifts suck” comments. It was my only option without voiding my warranty so here I am...

After about a month of running the spacer lift/leveling kit with an add a leaf in the back I am getting VERY annoying/obnoxious squeaking noises from the front and back of my suspension. Has anyone experience this before and if so, how/what did you do to fix it?

    Thanks for your help.

It's probably all from the back, sounds like squeaky leafs. There is no 100% fix really unless you go with a new leaf pack or get rid of the AAL and use a block. It will always come back.

    Also, you were lied to.

I'd make sure everything is tight, and turn the radio up.

I believe the AAL is a short leaf even though I wanted a long leaf. If I buy a long leaf will that help?

What other 2.5-3’’ lift options do I have that will not void my warranty?

It's not the shortest leaf, swapping them out won't cure it. The squeak will always be there with an AAL IMO

You can do whatever you want with your truck and your warranty won't be voided. If you installed a turbo and cracked the block, that's another story. If an aftermarket part fails, Toyota won't warrant that part obviously.

    Any of them, really.

The whole "anything other than what we sell will void your warranty" talk is criminal. Did your dealer tell you that? Did you buy spacers from them and have them installed by them as well? What did you pay?

Spacers and AAL are cheap, super cheap - and I bet they charged you a grip to install them. That means a ton of profit because they made you believe a lie.

Just assuming this is how it went down.

On my ’07 I did a 6’’ Fabtech lift that voided my warranty... Replacing stock components with aftermarket parts will void Toyota’s warranty.

I'm sure that's exactly how it went down.

I'm just hoping he didn't get charged $750 for a $100 lift and an hour of legitimate labor because they knew they could do it without being questioned.

No.. I would never buy a truck from a dealer with a lift on it because they rip you off. I bought the lift myself and took it to my local shop who has done work on my old trucks and I got a great deal on parts and a great deal on labor. I have everything all said and done for about $350. But not this noise is annoying the hell out of me and I am looking for ANY alternatives as long as it does not void my warranty as I spend about two grand on the extended one.

    This.

It's clearly defined in the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act.

Glad to hear that, $350 isn't much damage.

I'd still soak your leaf springs down with grease (in between each leaf), make sure everything is tight up front.

Some squeak isn't avoidable, but you can do what you can to make sure you're in as good of shape as possible.

I will tell you a story that happened to me, it's pretty funny actually.

Drop off truck for free service, they notice 1 piece drive shaft with 1 zerk .. not Toyota OEM part so they don't service it

I come back with the Toyota OEM drive shaft in the bed of my truck with 3 zerks and tell them to grease the 1 zerk or the 3, your choice. They ended up doing the 3 because it's a Toyota part.. dealer logic.

Interesting... Well I guess I will have to go with the Bilstein 5100’s and a block in the rear then. That should fix it right? Thanks for all your guys input.

I am the 1% TW user here, a block is better than an AAL IMO.. lol. Block never squeaked on me and 3 different AAL's did. Good luck bud.

I'd try and see if you can figure out the source of the squeak. If you're getting by fine with that setup (other than the squeaks), no sense in replacing it.
