Just opened up the boxes of my new 2.0 Icon rear shocks and the have rubber shock boots on them, is this normal? Because every site I look at shows no boot, or lists boot in any description

Leafs will only get the 1.5 inch Progressive Icon leaf pack so it will sit level with the front 3 inch lift

This is confusing. A 1.5 AAL will give you 3 inches of lift in the rear?

Hey Rick. Before you install, take a real close look at the seal around the shaft (where the boot is covering). I installed my brake lines today from @OCTaco and while I was under the truck I noticed that one of my icons was leaking at the shaft. They're only 4 months old. It's covered under warranty, but annoying that I have to pull it off and sent it in and wait for it to come back again (basically means doing a shock install 3 times). Just something to watch out for. They're great shocks, but same thing happened to a buddy of mine on his icons.

I'm not knocking the shock. These are actually way better than the 5100s I came from, but you know how it goes: right when you think you're done, there's something else to fix.

I think I might buy a set of rear 5100's to have on hand just in case
