Jerry did C-Lo have a hand in that? I might be interested in this when my truck comes in hopefully right before thanksgiving.

Well, he knew I was doing it, but that's about it. I took it to a buddies shop in North Scottsdale to have them do the work. Great price, fast turn around and they do outstanding work.

I'll have to look into this shop. What's ballpark on something like that? $50? $300? $100?

$100 out the door for the front and back. I was quoted twice as much at other shops. Check them out, they are right behind Right Toyota, and on any given day there are a handful of exotics parked out front with even more inside. Echelon Autosports. www.eawraps.com. Trevor is a great dude, and they had my truck in and out in just a few hours.

Did you also wrap the outside rim of the grill or you painted it?

    Nice, the front looks great!

Your lucky yours didn't come with the front license plate, here in CA my plate mount is drilled into the bumper. :frusty:

Say whatever you want to say, write whatever you want to write, there are serious deficiencies with the 2016 Taco, compared to the 2015 Taco. Mark my mother fucking words, the 2015 Tacoma will become valued as a very sought after year for the Tacoma truck. Much more so than the 2016. Can you say resell value? Sure you can.

^ maybe he bought the 2015 before the 16 was announced?

I've already talked to many previous gen Tacoma owners who now own the 2016 and they all agree that it has improved in many aspects.

So the 2015 Tacoma won't become a sought after and valuable model year for Tacoma, compared to the 2016, JerryTaco? You can't say the 2016 has more hp, torque, or mpgs anywhere near the rpm range where it matters.

Yeah, I'v had two 2nd gens and a first gen. The 16 is improved in every way. I absolutely love it and don't miss my 2012 one bit. It's cool though, everyone is entitled to their opinion, misguided or not.

Well, actually I can say that. My 16 pulls better than my 12 did up hills, has much better freeway acceleration and does in fact get better fuel mileage. I'm sure the 15's will hold their value just like any other taco, but to say that it will be more desirable over any other year may be just a bit off. And if that is the case, then technically the 12-15 would maintain the same desirability, and for that matter the 05-11?

My thoughts exactly, When I went for a test drive. I thought the mid end and top end power is impressive  Definitely quieter inside, better ride quality, etc... I could go on and on about the 3rd gen

BTW I didn't even notice any of the typical 2nd gen driveline vibe
