I just use a slime 12v cigarette plug in air pump.

Don't think I ever posted this pic in here... Remember when I was installing LT and couldn't get my stupid Driver side LCA in? Well I beat the crap out of the mounts and barely made it wedge in there. Now it's destroying my bushing on one side and not touching the other side...

 

Ok I'm making a list because I always get yelled at to keep an updated one at work.

Tearing the truck down for *hopefully* the last time until I regear.

TO-DOS:

• Replace driver & passenger front wheel bearings (ordered)
• Remove passenger CV and install new boots (ordered)
• Install new OE F*CKING M alignment cams on passenger side (received)
• Shorten Tie Rod End Extensions by 1/2"
• Call Total Chaos on Monday to see about fixing driver side LCA
• Install Pelfrey Blue Seas mounting plate (Need to Order)
• Clean up rats nest and wire up Blue Seas (ordered)
• Wire up and mount ARB Compressor (recieved)
• Fix rattling cat
• Replace gas cap that keeps throwing CEL
• Get a real alignment and tack the cams
• Wash/clay bar/seal/wax truck for winter prep

I swear if this thing still clunks and pops after this... well then I don't know what to do...

So uh where am I gonna mount this beautiful obese thing?

So far nothing bad has come of that.

 

In hindsight I wish I went with this dual instead of the ARB single.

My single is under the hood on the passenger side by the intake tube. @Rebelimo who is a local buddy of mine mounted his single in one of the bed cubbys - I want to redo mine like that but with a dual. Need to modify the box but think its a better spot.

 

The only thing with putting it in a box would be making sure that there is enough ventilation for the compressor.
