    285/75/16 on Mickey Thompsons classic II's *16x8* I think.
Have done some trimming already. Looks like I need to do some more. :) I have trimmed the flare part already but maybe not enough. It also looks like I need to trim the inner fender plastic but don't really want to do that too. Have other's had to trim both? As for the back, I think I have to trim more of the flare. :( I was wondering if I could just heat up the inner fender with a blow dryer until soft and re-shape it out of the way.

Tire size ? Rims are Toyota factory? If so which ones? Everyone's so afraid of modifying things. Easy if you know what needs to be done!image.jpgimage.jpg

I've been building my biggest Toyota of my life for almost 3 months now! I'm excited like a kid and apparently I've posted pics of it in the "wrong threads" I got banned from one thread yesterday!

Any updates? Still debating on getting some UCA's and which ones. I'm aware that I need to trim just a little bit more on the front left fender to stop the wheel from rubbing when I turn the wheel all the way to the stop. But I remember reading somewhere how some people were having issues of rubbing when they backed up and the wheel was only turned half way. I'm having that right now and I think the fix was UCA's because of the castor. Castor is having the wheel just a wee bit back from the neutral position right?

Cool beans. Will adding 2.5-3 degrees of castor increase tire rubbing in the back of the wheel well? I just got done reading about people needing to do the CMC (cab mount cut) to fix their rubbing problems. Just wondering if this will exacerbate that problem.

With what I've read from some guys is that they may only rub when flexing out, not necessarily when just daily driving. Every truck is different but I would just assume the CMC is required when jumping into the 33"+ tire size.

Kinda goes back to my point that I don't mind helping a guy figure out his product but wished I hadn't paid full retail price so he could do R&D from it. Bought the original arms (non HD and after the bending fiasco) and never got close to 2 degrees caster. I'd say his "high caster" arms are likely giving numbers that were advertised for the original arms. Probably will get decent numbers from them but I guess I'm the only person who bought from him that feels a little less than peachy about my purchase.

Not trying to rain on the thread parade but just wanted to be a voice of someone who isn't 100% satisfied so others who are looking into these arms fully realize what they're getting into and can make a well informed decision.

Also can't say I got fantastic customer service either. When I emailed him about the low caster numbers it didn't seem to me it was that big of an issue for him. But now that I see the new version with "high" caster it tells me he's definitely aware of the shortcomings of the original arms. If I was a tester then let me know upfront with some type of compensation when the process is fine tuned. As it stands now I've got a pair of pretty, red UCAs and ugly low caster numbers. Other than the low caster numbers I can say I like them, as they seem well built and have easily maintained parts. But they don't do what I want them to do, mainly give me a good alignment with my lift.

All he said to me was email the alignment specs and then we can talk
So in the end i hopefully will get ethier his new high caster arms or will get my money back and then i will go get a set of 4130 cromoly arms from camburg

Stuff I Think Makes it Better
I think it was everyone who first got the original arms, myself included. My arms bent when they came in contact, after my first off road trip. My 2nd set of arms, sitting on my truck now, only gave me 1.5 caster. That's the farthest the alignment shop would push them. Now, I'm okay with my arms, because they're pretty and they don't throw off my drive too much. But I understand and kind of agree with the frustration.

Long story short, I was an original buyer of the first arms, now I have the HD, now I need a 3rd set just to get correct caster? Seems kind of foolish...

This is exactly my point. The entire point of after market UCAs are to achieve higher caster than OEM arms. I bought his expecting to be able to get 2.5-3 degrees caster and was only able to get 1.7 at max after multiple shops/technicians worked on it.

And now he's selling high caster arms and discounting the old ones. I understand you're either a neighbor/friend/acquaintance (or whatever but you live close enough for him to work on your rig) and I'm sure he's a totally great guy and wants to do what's right. I just feel like I was testing a product that is still being fixed while paying for a product I expected to be able to deliver what it said it would. That's it in a nutshell. Maybe I'm in the minority and it's an isolated incident, very well could be. But I think folks should be aware of the good and bad and be able to make an informed decision. if anyone has any specific questions feel free to PM me as I feel like I've said my peace about this. Definitely don't want to seem like I'm trying to bash anyone. Just giving my 2 cents on my experience.
