Not sure if it's me, but everyone's 5100/eibach seem to look a lot taller than mine. Hahaha maybe it's cause I'm on 265/75r16.

So I just ordered some new ko2s in 285 75 16, I have the same suspension setup, and also have aftermarket wheels with a -9 offset. Do u guys think there will be any issue with rubbing on the UCA? Besides the small amount of trimming I'm gonna have to do.

Folks seem to have rubbing with 285s when the wheels have more than 4.5" of backspacing.

It is possible to calculate how much backspacing a wheel with -9 mm of offset has but you also have to know how wide the rim is.

For you guys with a reg cab 2.7l 4x4, I'm about to order my 5100/eibach setup. Like I said I'm going for the bro lean look so the front lift I like, not doing anything to the rear as far as lift, but new shocks. With that being said, all my bushings and everything are in good working conditions for a re alignment after install. How are my stock uca's going to do with the added height up front? Will they be sufficient? And I also am doing the diff drop as well to help with cv angles.

First off that's gonna be really stiff for a 4cyl single cab. Why would you lift the front and not the rear? What would the functionality of that be?

Eibachs will be to stiff for 2.7l. 881ome would be better. And if Ur going to lift the front and not the back, then don't do it at all.

Like i said, will the stock uca's work with the setup I'm doing? I appreciate everyone's opinions. But I'm just trying to see if I have to get aftermarket uca's or leave them stock.

    No.

You have a super light truck and your trying to put way too big of coils on. It'll ride like shit. You'll hate it. You have 0 down travel. You'll never get it aligned on stock UCAs for shit either. So if your gonna drop 500 on UCAs lift the rear and get a leaf pack.

    881s

If it's an old beater work truck..don't lift it at all if your just doing the front. Bro lean is stupid unless you have the suspension to walk the walk.

Agreed. My xtra cab 4x4 2.7l with full armor rode like I had bricks for suspension with eibachs/5100's. It also couldn't align for shit and drive like crap on the highway.

I switched to 881s on the 5100s and it was a night and day difference. Aligned better(through still not great) and rode much nicer. You'll still probably get 2.5"+ lift with that too. Take the advice given here and if you're going to do it use the 881s.
