I also tried an "Edmund Fitzgerald Porter"....Don't recall the brewery, but it was good! I like dark beers, Porters, Stouts, etc..... My wife thinks the only beer worth drinking is Bud light. Sorry, but I'm just not quite behind the concept of diet beer.....

You won't. Just watch with rod NOT cut then with it cut. A straight pull rod has less stress than bent one,

Just got em in and kinda mocking up but, I'm really happy with them. Just added much needed jacket and random shit, storage space!

I bought this shitty little roof rack at wall mart on impulse:mad: never been happy with it but maybe it won't go to waste:thumbsup: the blue rifle box is to size up a pelican box for more storage. I can't put a ton of weight on these but they will work perfect for what I've got:bananadance:

You must drive slower than me, and on some good roads, stuff would stay on that in mine for about 3 seconds!

It was honestly pretty easy. Just make nice straight lines with a straight edge and cut with a razor blade. I stole a corner rounder from the wife's scrapbooking box to finish them off. Obviously the AC will be different lengths than a DC but the widths should be the same. I did them at 2-1/2".

For an AC the fronts are 21" in length and are placed 8-1/2" from the front of the rear door latch. The rears are 10" in length and are placed 2-3/4" from the rear of the rear door latch. Again 2-1/2" in width.

I took them off last week at 35,000 miles. And put 285s on. And they were about 3/4 worn out

I completed my rear seat platform today. There's more details in my build thread, which is spread out over several posts. So it begins here.

Not very exciting, but changed the oil in my diffs, transfer case, and transmission.

What's miles on your truck for you to change the tranny oil? Considering it's a 14'

Just over 17k. I debated about doing it, but figured as long as I was doing the diffs I might as well do the transmission and T-case. I'm glad I did it. I expected to see metal on the magnet, but I didn't expect to see how large some of the shavings were.

I'll do it again around 30k, and see what it looks like. I'll be surprised if I see shavings as large next time, now that it's past the break-in period.
