I was a little skeptical of plastidip before. I did all my side and rear emblems and they came out well. It seems the more coatings the easier it is to peel off around edges.

Hmmm. My 2010 has the base color grill with silver paint and a black bumper. You may have just motivated me to do something about it

    Looks good OP!

Just an FYI for those of you who don't know, the surround on the grill can be removed from the centre piece and be painted on it's own. I broke mine down into two pieces in less then 10 mine. I think it's six screws at the back and a bunch of plastic (bitch) clips that hold it all together.

I did mine this way because it was much easier then masking and I didn't want to risk 'bridging' the PlastiDip on the tape. I should have taken photo's of it when it was apart.

Still going to replace it with an entire grill because the white PlastiDip is not an identical match, even with the gloss coating on it but it's good enough for now. I'm not in a hurry to pay $300 - stock - to $500 - Pro - for a new grill when I want to get myself a set of SCS SR8 wheels.

    Thanks man!

I was going to break it down but I didn't have tool at the time. I also saw the clips and didnt want to bother messing with it. So I just sprayed the whole thing. Im eventually going to replace the grille but, I want to spend some cash on sliders first.

Looks awesome. I might have done the same thing if my truck was black but it's white.
