Haha yea but you built all your stuff lol. Plus I'm not putting any used suspension on mine for LT. I'll be right around what every other guy spends to take his truck to a shop to be built lol. So this deposit will cover 3.0 16s, LT axles, some gussets, and a new bedset for the wife (our ikea shit creaks works than an LT truck). So everyone's happy. ROFL I told her i was getting the monry for truck parts and she got all grumpy, then I mentioned that I could probably get us a new bedset and suddenly its "oh yay! Buy whatever you want! Can we go pick out the bedset together????"

Just went through my work bench and found 5 sets of lug nuts that I've acquired over the years haha. Anyone need some washer of acorn style lugs? Give you a good deal.

 

Don't get me wrong dude I'm just poking buttons cause I'm an asshole. I want to see your truck finished you got a mean parts list. And sure used but any bad parts I'll just rebuild and replace, that's the beauty of race car shocks. Please get your hands dirty tho with something involved like building cv's and learn to do your own shock rebuilds and valving. if you don't I'd hate to say it but you might as well be a jeeper. I can't stress enough how important it is that you learn at least some intricate parts of your rig, it's part of the hobby more than just nuts n bolts(fat chicks can do that stuff) there's some local nor cal guys on here that have come a long way in learning thier vehicles I hope you keep on that path

 

Haha no worries brother, I can take some shit. Yea man, the build is being done ny someone else, completely, but I am by no means not gonna touch my truck. CVs i still need to learn, but I'm already looking at building a shock rebuild bench in my garage as well as a wall mounted spring compressor. Once the truck is built, It probably wont see the inside of a fab shop for a while. Like I said before if I had a welder and a plasma cutter and a tube bender and a chop saw and and and felt proficient at their uses, Id be built already lol.

 

As for used parts vs new parts, my last truck was a mixture of both, but other than a couple kick ass deals, alot of the stuff I got i ended up having to spend more money for rebuilding and unforseen stuff that put the price tags close to new, and I was kicking myself for not just buying new. I promised myself that I'd only put new stuff on my new trucks build (for the most part).

Yea I'm usually the same way, that's why when I do get used stuff I'm pretty picky, other than pretty much being dirty these shocks are new

 

Yea those shocks look in great shape. You can sometimes find some crazy good used deals, but I just got tired of the what ifs and hunting for them, just buy once cry once this time lol.

Anyone have a set of wheel spacers they are trying to get rid of? Might be interested.

 

Anyone have a spanner wrench I can borrow for a day? Fox 2.5, but other wrenches (King, Icon, etc.) might work. Broke this cheap folding spanner wrench that I got at Morgan's speed shop in WC.

After the UCA & coilover install last weekend, my shit is way out of wack. Need to get an alignment tomorrow but the ride height is way too low. 21.75 hub to fender.

 

Let me check my LT box, King might have thrown one in after I spent so much money with them Remind me tomorrow afternoon when i'm up and about and I'll see if Ive got one. I used to just use a flathead and a hammer, and be careful to not let it slip . You're adjusting when the suspension is drooped out I hope?
