    Yup, it's cold. Already had a couple big snow storms. Runner's as dirty as he's ever been! Drives me crazy but no time to wash him, especially since I'm running back and forth to the old folks' home so much.

    But mom got her new hip Monday so I guess it could go either way... just staying them, helping nurse mom back to health.

    Whew, I thought you were too young to be looking at having parents in an assisted living home. Never can tell though families come in a lot of different flavors. Your mom will be in my prayers for a quick and complete recovery.

    Well I need to get busy outside this morning. Time to put the summer wheels in storage out in the shed and put the finishing touches on a new composter in the back yard. Going on a quick hike with the family this afternoon to see how long I last.

    Lets get this weekend rolling.

    Thanks Tom. She's doing good so far but it will be a long road ahead. Just so long as she's back to normal by next camping season we'll all be happy!

    Speaking of vet. He went yesterday and one of the techs said he looked small for a Corgi, especially at 11 weeks. I googled a chart where you put in his age and weight and it estimates his adult weight. It estimated it at 16-17lbs... the average weight of a male Pembroke is 28-30lbs... so I guess we'll see how big he gets...

    Mom's good. I noticed little improvements already. She's navigating the house pretty good. Now if she could just get more sleep! That's the biggest problem so far.
