Cleaner look. For me I would like to remove them because it would make it easier to clean the truck. I know what I drive and don't care if someone else needs the badges to figure out what the truck is. However the GF likes them so I am living with them for now.

image.jpg Installed just the passenger seat cover from wet okole.... What a nightmare these are to put on.

I've only read excellent reviews on these things - nothing regarding install.

    Wouldn't wanna do that twice.

Otherwise nice fit, and adds a nice cushion.

I can understand the cleaning part.
I grew up in N.Deering Dad's from Freeport Mom from Bath. Still have many relatives up there . My cousin owns Wilson's on Moosehead Lake. Haven't back up that way for 3yrs now. Gotta take wife & show her where i grew up sometime.

I see your point. But anyone who pays attention to life knows you have a Toyota Tacoma whether the decal is there or not. It's not an exotic vehicle. And if they are ignorant enough that they don't know it's a Tacoma they probably don't care either.

Car people know what you have. Non-car people don't care. Thus, it only matters to you.

I'm seriously considering debadging mine too.

I love debadging. I think it looks great. I guess each truck is his own!

I think you'll get some paint chips on doors & rear fenders??? What have others who have done this have to say about it?????
Why didn't they put 4x4 on the front ones too?:confused:

I'm thinking it might be a little hard on the paint. Just kind of wondering what it looked like without them, and they do get rubbed a little bit by the 285s

I changed my oil and filter. Also changed the spark plugs and cleaned the throttle body and m.a.f.. It idles sooo much better now. I did notice a substantial oil leak. I cant tell if it's the oil pan or leaking down onto the oil pan :(
