    Hey,
Anyone installed a Lund or other brand windshield visor on their truck? if you dont know what im talking about check here > http://lundinternational.com/lund_i...tname_lund_int_truck_exterior_cab_visors.aspx

I have scoured the internet for some pictures of one of these on a Tacoma. They look great on some fords and chevys and are available with optional cab marker lights.

I have talked to a local place that said they can order and install them for around $600 with the amber LED lights. I was going to fire away and get one ordered but would really like to see photos of one in place before i have them drilling holes in my truck!

I have a 09 crew cab long bed TRD sport.

    thanks for the help
    Steve

Yes, that price was color matched and installed with the LED clearance light kit. The light kit was i think $100 on its own.

I did a little more research, called the dealer local to me and found that Lund International has sold their entire cab visor product line to a company called Keystone Restyling, who have not returned my call nor do they seem to have information on their website about them. It seems the stock of the visors to fit the 09 Tacomas is running out quick hard to find. I checked e-bay and jcwhitney. any other suggestions?

It seems should have ordered one 6 mo ago when i first started looking

    any help is always appreciated

I've never seen a newer Tacoma with one on. Where would all the stock be
going? Little or no stock because of no demand. That would be my guess.
I had one on a Chevy (looked good), I just don't think it would look good on the Tacoma.

Basically stock. OME 882s, HD Dakars and nitrochrgers, TG front bumper, custom rear bumper, 4Xinnovations sliders, RAT skids, Softopper, 255/85/16 ST MAXX's on 16" steelies, 1" B.O.R.A. wheel spacers Scangaugae II, deck plate mod, grey wire mod,ECGS bushing, diff breather relocation, alarm mod, defrost w/o compressor mod, de-badged, sockmonkey beside decals.
not a big fan of them. had one on my old s-10 zr2 and one day on the highway a strong gust of wind removed it for me. also, the paint was all screwed up from it too so keep that in mind if you might ever remove it.

I also say use the $ on something else.
For sunshade, 5" wide strip of 15% screen film professionally installed, $25.
Works great for me (not looking for a brow silhouette though).
Rarely even use my visors now.
    Good Luck!

If Keystone's products are still as cheaplie made as they was in 03 when I was based in AZ I would not waste my money. We used alot of there doors on vehicles because they was cheaper then oem and that is all the A.F. seen. Until we showed the we was changing them out every 3 to 6 months.. But the might have gotten better

After much research i found the only one i could at carparts.com Lund part # 12354pp is the color matched one with no clearance lights at $431.99 with free shipping.

Sounds like I'll be the only one on TW with one of these. we'll see how it looks before i drill any holes.

The one my sister had on her Suburban worked loose, looked like a bad frankestien face lift imo, Tacomas are more rounded/aerodynamic and would look more hacked.

Notice no one wants photos of one too (hint, dont post one), if there even is one.

Friends dont let friends triple edgewiper/air dam/all the ground effects/over billetted/hyper-bling their Tacomas.
