I still have these damn sliders.... I was told UPS was coming to pick them up, but they never showed, twice. Emailed Allpro back, and again got no reply...

 

Can't wait to go look at/bring home this 80 PU, happy I'm not gonna pass this one up. I passed up a 90s Bronco II for $900 that looked awesome and an 82 PU iirc that was $1200 in ft walton and then I would have passed this up if I didn't get reminded about the falcon loan thing

are you anywhere close to an autozone or walmart or something??? they have those plug things with the T handles to repair holes and you can get a cheap compressor to fill the tire up

 

So, not sure what happened, but my front skid plate is warped? Forwardmost bolt on the drivers side is in the skid, but not attached to the truck, and that side is hanging and will not go back up as hard as I try

 

Truck flexed out? I'd try a flat surface, loosen other bolts, then try reinstall.

 

Not flexed at all, perfectly flat. Not sure what's going on, will have to drop the skid this weekend and see if it's warped or just sitting bad

 

so I guess if you rent trailers, trucks magically appear on them...huh. and speaking of trucks, anyone free either the rest of today or tomorrow? I want to get the new trans put into the truck so its at least driveable, going to the tax office now to get tags for it

 

So im debating on a Hi-lift jack... Just don't know which size will fit best. 48" or 60", on the back of the gate (Tiregate Vertical)... Thoughts/experience?

 

Wish I would have seen this earlier I would have let you use my recall lug nuts

 

@BadBrains wiring harnesses like one of these? just wondering if there were any that were a tad cheaper, not too worried about price, just curious. Which one would be better?

Sold the Tonneau, and UPS finally picked up my sliders to get them back to allpro

 

Yep, just need to figure out how many circuits you need and then get one with a few extra circuits for lights, etc.

 

Should switch over to a GM one-wire alternator while you're at it.

theres a road directly south of duke field that runs east/west. go east on that and turn left at the 2nd 4 way. runs into a campsite by a pond.

 

Oh you are at one of the actual campsites then? As in the ones you are allowed to camp at?

yeah an actual campsite. paid the $5 for the pass and all. some boyscouts out there right now. we've found some pretty deep woods spot on the bikes and thought about going primitive.

Hey @BadBrains here's a blown up view of the trans not exactly too sure what that part is called that I need for the shifter. I know we need that base plate and the shifter itself but not sure about what they are called reference part diagrams. Not really good at reading them either lol
