    see what/where they post a lot. if they have a build page maybe they have an "up next" list that you could help out with, if you can't afford whatever they are wanting to do next, maybe some tools that will assist with it. others like sending general maintenance items (filters, plugs and such) which are always helpful to most. try looking up the prior years gift picture threads and see ideas in there. some people post their wishlist in the wishlist thread which takes some of the fun out of it but with many participants having less than 100 posts it can be helpful.

    all else fails, include some stuff from your part of the country, whether it's a t-shirt, food item, etc.
