OK. Anyone is welcome, I just figured most people work through the week so it wouldn't be conducive for them to join us.

1 caveat - I have jury duty next week but it has been cancelled every day this week so I think it will be cancelled next week also. Won't know for sure until after 5:00 pm Monday when I gotta call their jury hotline.

10:00 am at The Lyon's Den / BP; north end of town where US 62 and SR 205 intersect?

Let's make Tacogrl's head explode. We'll be on more MWCD land. Legal though!!!!!!!!!!

A guy I ride with got gas there with his VISA one time and his wife was looking at the statement and accused him of buying porn and pocket pussies.

I'm a dick. Anyway, keep me posted on the sitch Tuesday. Hopefully we can turn Danville into our playground. Who knows, might even invite tacogirl to come do drugs with us and inflict property damage on AEP land!

Roger that. I will probably park at the base of Stone Quarry and ride up it with you. It was pretty bad last time I was up it on the bike. This is like 80% dirt roads and 5% off road but it's a good time.

If anyone is welcome I'd like to tag along to Danville, assuming I can switch my off day from Wednesday to Tuesday which may or may not be a problem.

Having some trouble understanding an issue here, so be patient with me haha. I installed my lift a few weeks ago and took my truck into the alignment shop to be adjusted. I am currently running stock UCA's but plan to get new ones in the near future. I knew that I wouldn't be able to get stock specs but just wanted my truck to track straight in the time being. After it was done I got in and the truck was pulling left terribly. I took it back and he said the cams were seized and that he couldn't do much with it. When I got home I soaked the cam bolts in PB Blaster for a couple days and then tried to see if I could just get the bolts broke free so I could take it back to him. I threw a impact on them and barely bumped the trigger and the head of the bolt spun with ease. I snugged it back up and took it back and he said it was still frozen and he got a little more caster out of it but when I left, again it was and is still pulling left bad.

Im not very educated on this subject but if the bolts are spinning freely then how can the cams and bushings be seized? Any insight you guys could give me would be helpful. Thank you.

The cams? What does he mean by the cams?

If it's pulling left as badly as you make it out to be then it's usually the TOE measurement is out of spec, which is adjusted by the inner and outer tie rods.
CASTER I wouldn't give two shits about if it's out of spec because it won't cause tire wear or pulling concern.
CAMBER being out of spec can cause tire wear but usually not the culprit for a pulling concern unless something is way out.

Did you get a print out of the alignment specs after they did it the first or second time?
Might want to try a different shop if this one is no beuno.

Brake drag can also cause a pulling concern but usually you would notice a smell, smoke, or "lack of power."
Just because your breaking loose one bolt doesn't mean that is the bolt that is used for the adjustment.
    Good luck.

Caster will cause pulling. If one side caster is adjust more the the other, it will pull to that side.

Post pics of the printout so we can see

Sorry I meant to say the cam bolts.. He told me that the toe and camber were both in spec and I don't believe its brake drag or I would notice it. A different shop may be in order. Thanks.

I thought that also. I obviously should have got a print out but I did not. Sorry.

If the caster on one side is adjusted more than the other will that cause uneven tire wear? He told me that it would not because the toe and camber were in spec but I assumed that if the truck is pulling to one side then the tires will wear unevenly.. or is that not true?

You should be able to still get a print out of the alignment, most machines save all previous alignments readings.

Caster does cause a drift feeling to me if it's really out, but I'm not the one driving your truck, you said it pulls and I just don't know if its a little or a very serious effort to keep it on the road.

I'd say caster does not cause uneven tire wear.

    Caster doesn't affect tire wear.
