Has anyone had theirs painted yet to match the factory paint? Or is it possible to order factory painted fenders front Toyota, maybe though a body shop?

To me, even the factory ones look 'off'.

True. I think the OR fenders look good on all the colors except black.

I would have to completely disagree. I think the only color that looks good with factory black flares is white and quicksand.

Still looks like an afterthought that will fade over time. I blame the ford raptor for bringing them back

I dig the black fender flares, especially on quicksand. In fact, I sorta dislike quicksand Tacomas with color-matched flares.

I could see how you would say that. I saw the quicksand sport and was like....meh. then saw it in the offroad and was like....wow, man. Went back and forth for a while till I realized I only liked the offroad in quicksand.

It took another member here to come up with the idea and put it in words.

I disagree, I think they look great on black, love the pic in your avatar.

One of the main reasons that I bought the Sport was for the painted fender flairs and painted back bumper. The black OR flares look cheap to me, although on white, and maybe quicksand, they look a bit better. Just my opinion so don't shoot me.

You would probably be best to find a good auto repair shop with in house painters. You may pay more for th paint than labor

Off road comes with painted back bumper on upper models due to one of the safety features

Ok gentlemen. A local shop quoted me at $447.00 to color match all four fender flares on my 2016. That includes a matching clear coat finish and a 5 year warranty. It does seem a tad high to me. Thoughts?

That's the price for me removing and installing the fenders myself.

Quoted price is a tad high but quality painting is expensive. I'd pay it.

That's a good assumption. I've had good luck with my Toyota dealer's recommendation.

I agree. As is nothing should be assumed, but I hope they can do a quality job. The guy there said he would come close to another shop's price if it's within reason.

Maaco just quoted me at $364 to paint all fenders if I take them off the truck. My plan is to take that quote and see if the original shop I called will beat them..
