The ole pocket knife in the back pocket hooked the rear door when getting into the Taco.. 1st scratch complete.

Any recommendations out there on color matching touch-up paint to use?

    Thanks!

Just wondering, what color? I have the same type scratch but on passenger rear door from wife's pocket book. Mine is a Blue Ribbon Metallic.

Well for how new your truck is, I would say that duplicolor (sorry if I spelled it wrong) paint pen. But who knows they might not make it yet.

The dealer sells fingernail polish size bottles of tough-up paint. The color is a guaranteed match unless your paint is faded.

Just have the dealer order it. I ordered an oem touch up stick for inferno when i bought the truck last week. Came within a week. Always good to have one laying around. If they can match inferno then they can match anything.

Check out my build thread (Beginning of Money Pit)
Same exact color, same exact location, same exact circumstances for scratch.

Gonna try and have it buffed, then maybe paint if it doesn't work

Don't clear coat superwhite unless you get it from dealer also, I have a superwhite scion, and clearcoat turns a ugly yellow after a while. I just touch up several layers, then wax over it a few days later.

Yea they offer the clearcoat pen as well I just wasnt sure if something I had to do or if the paint would hold up alone.
