What have you done to your Tacoma today? 1st Gen Edition

That's exactly the same as mine with a manual. The left one is cruise, I always thought the other two were a push/pull setup for the throttle. Never looked that closely though

 

By no means do I really know much but I know Toyota switch to throttle by wire in 2003. Does that have anything to do with the discrepancy? I think nagorb posted an 01.

Now I don't know what they process is for what they have to do, but just going under the truck and taking a look, I'm not seeing how any part of the spare tire assembly is blocked.

 

You are right Brett. No cruise control. A buddy just sent this to me. 04 5vz 4x4 auto.



That bottom cable is for the tranny. That is at least it was on my 2.7 auto.
I can honestly say this build is a huge learning experience for me.

 

I washed my truck today, I'll be putting bucket seats in next weekend.

 

Mines am 01 auto w/cruise control. The other two I have no clue, never really thought about it. I can check if you'd like.

 

yeah i cant think of any reason why the drivers side cam should be upside down

passenger could be full toe depending on the backside...or attempt to max caster??

Can anyone with a 3.4 take a picture of where the hose from the intake silencer goes to the port under the manifold and out the back? Just need to know where the connection in the back goes to.

 

Welded on BAMF sliders today.

Thanks, now I'm confused. Where does the 4wd vacuum port on the right side by the battery go to? I forgot to put that metal line that goes under the manifold on, so I need to adjust that soon.

 

Toyota won't replace my frame but they put a new spare tire carrier on it a few weeks ago.
