    Good for going to the doc Susan. At least you know the bones suffered no damage. Seems like hot and cold therapy might work to relax the muscles.

    Another one for the recliner. When I first hurt my back I spent two weeks sleeping in the recliner. Yes it sucked but the pain was manageable. In the bed the pain was off the charts.

    the cheesecake is a mess now - once you cut it it sort of implodes on itself. I'll see if I can't get a pic of the bread. Dinner disappeared before I could get a pic but here's the same meal I made a while back for myself.

    Yeah, a little bit. She's still doing half the night in bed and half in the chair. Her leg is really swollen and she won't let me prop it up. She has therapy tomorrow so I'm sure they'll chew her out.

    Hope they chew her out enough so she cooperates with you/dad. Can you google hip replacement surgery and see what it says so you can show her she needs to prop it up :notsure:

    Need to prop the leg up Lisa to let the fluids back into the torso. Has the doc checked to make sure the valves on her leg veins are OK? I have problems with mine but exercise keeps the fluid build up really low. If I know I am nor going to get exercise or will be sitting for a long period of time I usually put on compression socks.

    She knows all of that but she won't cooperate. Won't use ice packs either to help with the swelling.
    I'm sure the PT people will chew her butt tomorrow, and check up with the doc is on wednesday
