Your OPINION is fine. We are both entitled to our own OPINION. I have no issues. I'm just stating my opinion and personal experience with the "cheap compressors". Obviously if you have access to a professional shop with one of those fancy spring compressors than that's the way to go. Most people don't. It's that simple.

There's no OPINION about which method is safer.

 I give up. Your opinion is obviously the one you're willing to consider.

Ok ok, using an industrial spring compressor is the ONLY way to do it since it is safer. :annoyed:

    Happy now? :notsure:

No, I stated if you opt to use a spring compressor........

I've stated from the beginning that the video shown in this thread is quite safe and doesn't require a compressor at all. You don't even have to mess compressing the spring.

I've stated from the beginning that properly using a spring compressor has safely worked for thousands and thousands of people lol. If you're not mechanically inclined enough to operate it than you probably shouldn't be working on your suspension in the first place.

The way they did it in the video was fine. I prefer using a compressor and I'm sure I'm not alone. I've never died from it and don't know anybody who has, nor can I find any proof on the internet that anybody in the history of the earth has. To each their own.

Me and a buddy went 50/50. I wish I bought it years ago. Its so easy and safe that I have no problem removing the shock to adjust ride height now, which is usually the recommended way to adjust them. The LCA method works too, but not with threaded body coil overs. Those cheap running thread type is mostly made for passenger car springs. Try compressing a 700# coil with them :D

Lol. Fact remains those are junk compressors. Argue all you like. See bullaculla with the quality compressor? He knows what's up.
