Hi everyone i have a 2012 prerunner 2wd and I plan on getting the MaxTrac 4" spindle lift. I need help in deciding what is the biggest tire i can fit with this lift where i will not have to trim and will have no rubbing?

    Stuff, stuff and more stuff

You will have to trim the rear of wells if you plant to drive off it road. Look up cab mount chop or CMC. You can run a 33"or 285 and should be ok on streets

Stock wheels or aftermarket? Offset is going to play a role.

That will definitely be better to clear the fenders and cab mount, but you might run into other issues.

I believe maxtrac states the maximum backspace is 4.75" with a 17" wheel.

-6 is the minimum offset you can run with a 17x9 wheel and those spindles.

i want to run 285/70/17r tires but i dont know with 4" inch maxtrac lift if it will rub some say it wont others say it does. Would going down a size ensure that it wont rub?

Yeah, but it's going to look funny.

Think about this. Those spindles already push the wheel out .75" plus the negative offset of the new wheels so you're going to be at least a couple inches wider per side compared to the stock setup. The spindles are wider, the wheels are wider and the tires are wider.

It won't rub going straight though :bananadance:
