Had been hearing a noise lately when I take tight turns. Thought it was the hockey stick in the bed sliding around. Wash my truck the other day and decide to cleanup under the hood. Pop the hood and I hear something rolling in the channels on the underside of the hood. Looks in the front corners just over the headlights and there's a couple acorns. Start tapping with my fist on the front of the hood while it was open and more acorns go rolling in the channels toward the windshield. Not 2 or 3 but a lot! 30-40? Can't see how a mouse could carry and acorn so it must be a chipmunk. The little rodent must have been pretty busy to get all those acorns up there thru the holes in the front corners of the hood. Now every morning when I get to work, I pop the hood and pull out 3 or 4 acorns. Guess it will be a few weeks before I get them all.
