Oh yeah Newton isn't far at all. I was just driving through this weekend. And in warmer weather, I pass through when I head to the Paulinskill Valley trail. Great for biking. It'll be nice not having to seatbelt my bike in my convertible car anymore...

A bit envious. Every time I drive into/through Sussex county, it makes me wish I'd grown up there instead of Morris.

 

Well you already got a capable rig to start providing your e-locker works. Just getting more aggressive tires will make your truck be able to handle a ton. I wheeled some pretty gnarly trails with no lift and just tires for a while. Armor is there for piece of mind so you don't break shit, but the truck can handle a lot pretty stock.

 

Question.....

Since doing my lift with full leaf pack, I've noticed that when I fill up, the truck has just a slight lean left. I know that the gas is all on that side but it never did that with the stock suspension. The lean does go away when it gets near the 3/4 full mark but just looks silly.

FYI.... The Dakar leaf pack were both +'s so it should be above spec according to Toytec.

Any thoughts?

With both springs being +'s means there equal. A lot of times they pair a +with an 0 or a - to help with the lean. And the stock front springs are slightly different to make up for this from the factory so depending what setup you have in the front that could be effecting it too.

 

Look into 1/4" spacer to alleviate minor driver side taco lean

Where did you guys get your powdercoating done at? Contemplating getting the bumpers done.

 

I have the complete Toytec Boss kit, so I am not sure if it's set up to handle the extra weight of the gas. I will try contacting them, see what they say.

I powdercoat all of my motorcycle related stuff at atech customs down in raritan. Good service and reasonable rates.
