Tires rubbing

    i have a 2007 Tacoma pre runner I installed 1 1/4 wheel spacers now my tires rub will a leveling kit stop the rubbing

    The leveling kit may or may not stop the rubbing. By adding wheel spacers you are placing the wheel and tire farther out of the wheel well, increasing the arc that the tire swings. Typically, lifting doesn't get you that much more clearance inside the wheel well, but some trimming of the fender liners will. Also, it would help to know what you're rubbing on.

    It rubs on the inner fender by the front door on both sides I already did some trimming it helped a little but still can't make full u turns I have 20 inch rock stars with 275s 55 20

    Inner fender in the rear of the wheel well? Metal or plastic? If its metal, you're probably rubbing on the cab mounts, which can be cut and rewelded, pretty common thing on this forum. If its plastic, just trim it back, won't hurt a thing.

    Well I am now running 275/60r20 on XD128 with a +18 offset. I really wish I Could have found a +5 to +10 Offset in the same style with someone else. Here is a picture of the first one installed before needing to do the trimming.

    I was able to trim the outer fender

    and I am still trying to make the inner splash guard clear. I also need to do a full compression stroke to see where else might rub.
