Hate to see weather end some peoples season like that with this format, otherwise it's been an entertaining chase. Hope Truex can get the upset next weekend.

C'mon Jeff! Go out on top!

Regardless of what they might say to the media, you know the entire Hendrick Motorsports team is the #24 team this week.

If he wins it NASCAR is rigged. I like Gordon, but he has not been Champion do.inant this year....

I wouldn't call it rigged, hes done what he has needed to do to get himself through the chase.

    What I hope will happen:

    Truex, Busch, Gordon and Harvick.

Like I said, he has done what he has needed to do to get in a position to win a championship. Joey and brad dominated at times during the season yet they aren't in a position to win anymore.

Granted my favorite driver is kyle, but I'm really pulling for truex this year. Great to see a smaller team in the final four, and it kinda makes it seem like these smaller teams can still get to the front and win a championship with way less money. And if not truex ill be pretty happy for gordon if he wins it. Hes been one of the many great faces of the sport and for somebody to retire with a championship would be pretty cool. Im not a gordon fan by any means but I appreciate all hes done for the sport.

I'm not a fan of stats because they mean little especially when you consider getting caught up in accidents, mechanical problems, unforeseen circumstances, experience etc but here are the Homestead stats for the final 4.

Jeff Gordon - Average finish 10.56 in 16 starts

Kevin Harvick - Average finish 7.57 in 14 starts

Kyle Busch - Average finish 23.1 in 10 starts

Martin Truex Jr. - Average finish 10.0 in 10 starts

Not looking good for Kyle stats wise but I've seen the 18 do some amazing things in a race car and that's why I am a fan. I've been impressed by his maturity level as of late. Hope he can pull it off. More so as a general FU to the current chase format.

I'm all for Kyle to win... Might have to buy crispy m&ms to help the cause.

Ryan Newman almost won last year without a single win, this chase format means all you have to do is just enough to make the next cutoff and you've got a chance. Otherwise Joey Logano would be the champion already. Otherwise Joey Logano would already be the champion and there'd be no reason to watch Homestead.

Also, Jeff got screwed out of at least one championship because of this new format, it'd love to see the format work in his favor for once.

Atlanta and Kentucky getting a repave next year. I don't like slick tracks. They're too smooth and fast. I like tracks with bumps and character.

Kentucky needs it badddddd though. Definitely going to take away from some of the excitement there though.

I would hope so for Atlanta since they use it as a drag strip on Friday nights.

Looks like the paving company owner is in hot water. Both Atlanta and Kentucky quickly denied the paving jobs with tweets and press releases. I'm sure they didn't want investors to know about such a big improvement venture given fiscal budgets are already in place through July '16. I'd imagine they're speculating and working on '17 track budgets and this dude let the cat out of the bag.

You'd win. I drive like a grandpa. Plus, I'm getting that lift knock in my driveshaft. I need to shim it.
