I love em, I'd like to find one in 45 long colt so it matches my revolver I'm getting.

Would love to go a larger cal, and better distance, not sure if I want a .30-06 or something else.

The best moment was when I took it to get bore sighted and didn't have a case for it, so I took it in my AR bag, all the old guys were rolling their eyes, guys at Tanners knew what I was walking in with and laughed at the old guys reaction when I pulled out the 30-30 and walked over to get an actual rifle sleeve for it

I had a JM stamped Marlin 336 in .35Rem and sold it because of the fact that for an entire year the internet was sold out of ammo for it. It's such an unpopular round that Hornady and Remington only do a small batch of it one time and once thats gone you have to wait til next year....f that lol.

Sold it for to fund a Ruger American Predator in 308. 18" threaded heavy barrel for when/if I get a can, and you can load it up for elk or down for yotes. 30 cals are perfect for all PA game IMO...can't go wrong with a 308 or 30-06.

They are a trail and it's pretty active. Saw 30+ people there in the 20 mins I was walking around. Definitely can get a truck there but there's too much risk of a ticket with that many people around. Got to do it on a blistering cold day super early or something

Yeah I remember you telling me this. I really wanna go back with a bicycle and ride through both. Seemed like there were a ton of trails all around the tunnels too.

 

It's a beautiful area to explore it's just a shame that it's like 4 hours one-way to get to that Breezewood exit.

 

Exactly. Really only took the opportunity since I was passing through anyway. Wish I had more time but I was already on the road long enough and just wanted to get home. I think you can camp there right?

As you can see from the state of my truck mods it was a while ago too...

 

When Craig says "Somebody left the gate open" he really means that the rocks and logs they put to block the old road should have been bigger.
