Just got a fusion power fist! Sweet!

This thing is badass! Beating down super mutants like nothing!

Made it to diamond city and bought a couple weapons. My arsenal is pretty damn good right now.

Found the melee bobble head too so its making my power fist super strong

FUCK! I spent 2 hours on Fallout tonight only to figure out I accidentally sold off my favorite gun at some point. So now I have to revert to get that gun back. :annoyed:

Not really. The mr handy things tend to have a few after being killed though.
Ouch. Id just get a new favorite gun, lol. I always pay close attention when im selling stuff for that reason.

Does anyone know how to delete extra saves? Its somewhat annoying that the autosave doesnt just save over the previous auto one

On mine (PC) when you bring up saves you have the option to delete as well. I also turn off all saves and just do it manually.

I highly recommend renaming your gun for just that reason. I renamed all my guns in the format of Vels 308 Rifle. The Vels part groups them all together so easier to see. The caliber is nice for grouping similar caliber guns together. Then the last part is what i use the gun for (sniper, pistol, shotgun, or rifle)

My gun has a custom name. I'm not sure exactly what happened, but suddenly I opened my menu and I didn't have it. My last quick save was from 10 minutes before, where I also didn't have it, and my last normal save was 1.5 hours before that. Oh well, thems the breaks.

Just spent the whole weekend on this game, finished main story line :anonymous: level 38 right now. I must have done 50 minutemen quests until I figured out they just loop over and over. Ah well, got around 16 settlements out of it. Those settlers are needy bastards. My hands down favorite gun so far is one you get from a shop in diamond city though. Night vision .45 sniper rifle. 88 damage per shot and ammo is everywhere. So glad to get rid of that pipe revolver rifle and get something useful for .45. Really love the crafting in this game too. Didn't fully get a grasp on it until yesterday, scrapping entire houses is pretty entertaining.

Nice. So i guess they are useful to find settlements but past that seems annoying.

I have a machine gun that uses .45 with explosive damage. Dont use it too often though.

Thanks! Good to know about the Miniutemen missions. I started to notice that the AI dialogue was identical pretty early on, but I didn't notice that they were repeating yet.

Fyi for others, on the ps4 to delete saves, you have to click load then square. Then itll give the option, but they have to be deleted one by one

    Cool.

I've only got 4 so far, but I had noticed the dialog as well. Good to know!

In fallout games I avoid full auto guns like the plague. You can't hit the broadside of a barn half the time, and they just eat ammo. Personally my least favorite gun is the minigun, you have to unload at least 100 shots into ghouls with it to kill em because the spread is so bad. I just sell the ammo rather than waste it. I've got 3 of the "non auto rifles do more damage perks" though, so not sure what the .45 sniper is without them. It was only 650 or so caps, worth its weight in gold.

Yeah I had noticed the dialogue hadn't changed in 25+ missions, then I realized I had helped the same settlement 3 times. To avoid getting another quest when you talk to Preston, right after he says good job and all that good stuff in the speech scene just run away from the speech. It'll complete your last mission and it won't give you a new one.

its the only auto gun i carry, for use with big enemies. minigun stays in the sanctuary workshop but i agree its not practical to use either.

i have 2 of the non-auto rifles as well. plus feel like some of them can shoot plenty fast like my marksman pipe rifle i use for lower enemies. really enjoy my 32 shot capacity shotgun. thing rails in vats with headshots

For some reason I really don't care for vats in this game. I've used it a total of 4 times and each time it missed every shot at point blank. Ended up just hip firing the crap out of a deathclaw that was right next to me when I fast traveled somewhere. Never got hit by it somehow. Oh and also, the rail gun in this game is rediculous. 180 damage per shot and shoots very accurately. I've yet to have something it won't one shot kill with a headshot. I'd like it better if it didn't take up half the screen though. I have that .38 rifle too, found it with a horrible pipe and 2 nails scope though. So its hard to hit much at any sort of distance.

If you want a shotgun that does damage find the one called Le Fusil Terribles. It's in a massive raider settlement that's all on water. Bunch of boats and platforms, it's a big area and finding it is a pain. But it has a 32ish round capacity and does 111 damage per shot.
