    Looks great!

Makes me miss the Hilux I had in Qatar back in '09.

It's Definitely a diesel, just put a full tank of diesel in it yesterday. Also has diesel clatter and is averaging 30mpg...

Yeah, its the new 1GD. The engine cover looked very much like the 1GR. I thought the 2016 still had the 1KD which has the IC on the top of the engine.

I'm super jealous btw. The 1GD is probably pound for pound the best diesel engine to date.

I got to drive the new 2016 Tacoma Off Road 4X4 at the Seattle International car show. It was really nice, very quiet inside the cab, good sounding exhaust note with the V6. I really like the new Tacoma and I will be trading in my 2004 for a new one.
The seats are more comfortable than ever and the truck has lots of power and a great new layout for the instruments and controls.

Traded the 2015 TRD Pro 6spd Supercharged on a PowerWagon and could not be happier. My 2011 Tacoma with the TX Baja package (Added by me) is still treating me great. My 1985 Toyota never skips a beat.
Ahh Toyota giveth and Toyota taketh away.

Those Pricks. Seriously my wifes new Rav4 doesn't have them and my 2015 Tacoma doesn't have a clock, or a temp gauge. But its a sweet color and its supercharged!

I agree, at the price point auto headlights should be standard. I was used to them on my last truck. Luckily the headlights turn off automatically after so long which has saved my battery a few times haha

I looked for it all weekend and then finally read the manual. I have the type B light control stick. Do you this the type A would work? Does anyone have that part number?

The TRDs come with daytime running lights though right. That LED strip?

Yep. I thought they didn't at first but was very happy to find they did. Also comes with Nav and auto-dim mirror.

I have the TRD Sport. There is auto-off headlights on all sport, limited, and off-road models. It is configurable in the settings section on the touchscreen. No worries leaving your headlights on and draining the battery.

Keep your headlights in the "Auto" position. Then go to Lighting in the Vehicle Settings. You can adjust the headlight timer. Also make sure your DRL are checked on. My truck came with the DRL in the off setting. I was driving around with my parking lights on before I got into the settings.

They're still not "automatic " headlights. Yes, they will turn off automatically but auto headlights turn on by themselves when they sense there isn't enough light and turn off by themselves when it is bright enough out

The Auto Headlights DO go on automatically when it gets dark. It's not instantly like when driving under a bridge. The sensor is the black ball on the passenger side of the dash. Cover it with a towel and wait about 15 seconds. The lights should go on Automaticly. Also, the sensitivity can be adjusted in Settings.

You need the Premium and Tech package for auto-headlights. I'm assuming he doesn't have that.

I know how they work, but guess there was some confusion as I was assuming mavric31 does not have the premium pkg. I am well aware the premium pkg does include auto headlights. I apologize for any confusion
