Colorado B.S. Thread

Pulling for this El Niño thing. Getting a nice taste today in the hills outside town. Snow bashing for lunch and a night run sounds like it's in the works.

 

Did you figure this out? I could go snap a pic here in a little bit.

I need a weekend, from my weekend. Besides working Saturday I was able to pain my house on Sunday. I'm beat down this Monday.

 

No I haven't figure it out yet. If you can snap a pic the would be great. Or at least a location so I can check on my truck for it. I've been looking and can't find anything. I checked by the passenger side by the cruise control relay. I also check passenger side of the steering column. All I saw was the heater relay. I'm kind of hoping in seeing a mount or wiring harness plug.

 

Wonder if the snow will mess with my flight.

 

My mom just sent me this. Work order for their 06 Tacoma.

 

I wish we would get that much snow down here!

 

I'm just interested to see all the people who increased our population here recently who've never dealt with snow before lol.

 

That is always fun to see. When I lived in the mountains of AZ, it was fun pulling out Prerunner Tacoma's with CA plates. I would ask them why the hell they were driving in the snow, and they would mention they had a lifted truck.

 

Six months... ouch. Where did/does that truck live?

Lol. I've dealt with people like that before, but instead we'd ask them why they were out and it's usually "I needed milk" or some stupid. Really?! I'm also amazed that they don't make tow hooks a requirement on all vehicles. So many don't have them. One lady we had to open her hood and run a tie strap through her engine bay and back out the front.

We got a inch or so last night but nothing since. We are supposed to get more today but we will see.

I found this out when I had to pull an F150 up a hill, I had to wrap the strap through his bumper and back to mine. He had a 2WD F150 and decided to go up one of the steepest hills in Flagstaff in the snow/ice, this hill also happened to have a stop sign right in the middle. It sucked going up even in 4WD.

 

Really? My buddy said he has 8 inches already in montrose.

Wolf creek is getting hammered. May be ill on Wednesday. Local appreciation day!

 

Monte and Del Norte got about 3. Wolf got 10 on top of a 35 inch base.

 

Yep. But they had a brand new 2015 Tacoma as a rental. No charge to them.

The truck currently lives in Vermont....for the next month. Then it will live in Colorado

 

My truck is in the shop getting the scratches/doors painted. Got a Jetta for a rental but I can just work from home tomorrow

 

I'm going Wednesday too. Should be bluebird skies and good snow. Hook up this season maybe.
