Oh my bad! So, the Wet Okole seat heaters are just inserts that go into the seat - they're not built-in or anything. It's a heating pad just like any other after-market heating element that slips into the seat cover.

Let us know if you do end up doing - be the write-up that you want to be!

yep! and im just worried that the stock switch that comes with them have circuitry that is heating element specific and if i go cutting that controller off, just how to make sure the new switch will have the same effect on the pads. im no electrical guy to start so thats why im hoping to find out as much as i can before screwing up some nice wet okole stuff!

Better to ask what I have not done.
I'm going to be wiring in two rocker Swithes in them for mine and I'll post up how I do it. I just need to get my hands on mine to see if they are using thermal switches or two different amp capacitys.

Here's mine install. I decided to remove the front seats the make it easier to "tuck and roll" the covers. some of the covers came in a little wrinkled. i'm sure it'll smooth out after a while.

I don't really care for it either, but kept it on for my dog who loves to surf the console.

Right on! Would it be dick if I kept it then? My fiance and I are bout to get a dog, she's had a few in her family but my first. One reason I got rears with this gb. He's going to go everywhere with me. Looking at Blue Heelers.

Lol nah man, I'll find one. I suggest keeping it if your going to give your dog free reign of the cab.

Found her on a wheeling trip 2yrs ago and she comes with me everywhere. Even cross country to Moab.

That's rad. We wanna adopt and have put in two apps already but the dogs get picked up quick so we're still looking and waiting. My fiancé is an animal lover and was a vet tech at one time. She started showing me Australian breeds and I fell in love with the blue heelers. This video helped http://youtu.be/PRHg5sReRqs

Sorry for non wet oaks post, will post photos after rears are installed.

My current one is black and still in pretty good shape. My new covers probably won't be here for another two weeks, but I can send you a pic after I make sure I have a replacement in the box. Then if you want it, it's yours.

@samsung Thanks for the follow-on, and for all the pictures! I'm going to bookmark this and come back to it when I'm putting mine in. I think some of your pics are duplicates, but it's all good.

Did you end up tucking the cloth into the plastic on the sides of the seats? In the pictures it looks like they're hanging right now?
