Yea! Which OME coils did you use up front? Did you get the Dakar leafs for the back?

So according to to what I seen on that video all the did was swap out springs to get a 3" lift up front ,is that correct ?

I was referring to the pic where he said he didn't have anything installed. Installing 5100s on the top setting will probably help clear, they'll also ride like shit due to the preload.

Should have clarified. Will ride shitty as opposed to not pre-loading them and getting a spring to achieve the height.

All things being equal, the 5100 ride will be shittier on a preloaded spring than on a non preloaded spring. Better?

You're right, its whatever people like. I like the ride with my 886s better than when I had 884s with 5100s. To each their own.

While we are on the spring topic,, anybody have a rating for the 2016 stocks,, they are definatly beefier than previous model

Yeah, they swapped front springs to provide more lift on the same shock body. The rear looks to be only lifted with the aluminum spacer.

Ideally you'd do something to compensate for the bad springs these trucks already have in the rear. A 1.5" add-a-leaf would be a nice compensation to give them more load carrying capacity with less sag and also provide the correct amount of lift.

In the front, a longer shock body would be ideal to allow for more droop and extension when flexed. The setup on this truck just lifts it, and quite frankly a body lift would be just as (in)effective.

Yeah right on thanks ,,, I had a local spring shop do my rears for me ,, turned out great ,, as for my front I've gone with adjustable shocks but am finding the ride really rough so am looking for a set of springs with both lift and ride ,,want to keep shocks ,, tough I know :/
