Chewing her butt out will not help today. She is missing out on repair time for her body.

Happy Monday, warm enough here today that I could mow the lawn after work. Really just chopped up whatever leaves were left.

We were going to mow our lawn thisnweekend but couldn't come up with a mower... sucks cuz it was way nice. I almost got a sun burn in that 50 degree weather! Snowed today though...

On the flip side! Cali is way too damn big!! I think I'll just stay in my hotel room!!!:goingcrazy:

I missed something, where are you in Cali, and how long is your sentence?

Reminds me of when I routed through LAX coming back from STL this past May. If the airport is any indication, I'll just pass on the rest of SoCal. o_O

I still want to drive the PCH from around San Francisco north through Oregon to Washington.

Work training for the week. I'm in San Jose, so it could be worse but it still sucks for me... this city has a population almost as high as the whole state of Idaho...

I get the same feeling in San Antonio, St Louis, Phoenix, Minneapolis, and even Souix City, Iowa (everywhere I've been outside AK recently) ... it's like "where do all these people come from?"

    Stay safe Bug. ;)

I just realized that San Jose is the 10th largest city in the US... no wonder it's so big...:frusty:

Aren't we overdue for a plague or something ;)

I don't like big cities either. Even IF is too much for me to take. Too claustrophobic

MT, How's your mom doing? I've had experience with replacement joints and it's tough. The surgeon that did my knee said that recovery was a race between range of motion recovery and scar tissue restricting the same. If the scar tissue wins then another surgery will be required to destruct it; then another race begins. I don't know if hip replacement has the same ROM issues or not. Keeping after the swelling is paramount in healing and pain reduction. My best for her.

Oh, my forum name is reference to brand names of my new personal suspension parts.

She's doing good I think, could be better but she's stubborn. Doc check up is tomorrow so we'll see what he says.
She has a stryker hip too...hope they're reliable! Can't see her going through this again.

I am the exception and like big cities. Lots to do and a lot of great places to eat. Traffic on the highways suck but traffic can suck in small town America too. Just not as much or as often. I basically live in a city that starts just north of Boston and ends at Richmond.

Keep pushing your mom Lisa when she is 100% you may get a thank you.

I agree on LA Damn city starts 100 miles east of the ocean.

It isn't so much a problem of size as it is of layout. I live in a college town that doubles whenever classes are in. Traffic is fine during the summer, but during the spring and fall it sucks because the layout is designed for 20,000 people not 40,000.
