Okay thanks guys. So if I can turn the cam bolts does that mean that they are not seized up and caster should be able to be adjusted? He acted like he could not get them to turn at all

I'm cool with it being mostly chill gravel stuff, starting to stress about how much I've put my suspension through since breaking that rear gas tube. I should really be blowing you off, but I just can't say no to a day of wheeling:goingcrazy:

The bolt you may be able to loosen is what allows the caster cam to be able to be adjusted. You would have to loosen that bolt then put a wrench on the caster cam hex and see if you can move it (which of course if you can means you have to get another alignment, but of course sounds like you need one anyway). The cams do commonly seize up, so it would not be unusual if they are. The only solution is to cut the old ones out, and buy new ones (not cheap). I will be dealing with this soon myself unfortunately. Hope that makes sense.

I think what you are referring to is known as cross caster. When they are not adjusted equally that can absolutely cause pulling to one side. When done by a someone who knows what they are doing, they can adjust the right side with a little more positive caster to compensate for the crowning of the roads. Not really sure how that affects tire wear, although if its pulling bad you would think it would wear incorrectly, usually toe is the culprit for uneven tire wear.

    How old is "old"?

I kind of got the impression I was towards the older end of the thread participant spectrum.

Edit... shit, you're 44? I'm pretty close to that.

Leavin the house now. If no one hears from me for 24 hours I'm tied up in the basement of Lyons Den and Mark is using me for his pocket pussy.
