JW how did the two pod lights above the driver/passenger come out? They click in off, so do you just pop them out ?

Does anyone have the correct numbers of the exterior bulbs? Like rear tail/stop/turn, front marker and turn? I want to go red behind the red lens and amber for the front turns. I cant cross the bulbs, the O/M and Superbright dont agree to the same bulb sizes.

On the license plate bulbs, do you turn the black outer piece or just the grey?

well i put the wled-cw5-cbt in my plate tag lights. a woman's hand would be better on this job, they look good. was taking the vanity lights out and i didnt have a puller so i was using a small electronic screwdriver and touched some metal and blew a fuse. so i was taking fuses out to see which one i had blown and it was a 7.5 fuse. but i must have put one of the fuses in the wrong spot, i know im stupid. my truck would not start. so i had to read the manual and override the regular procedure to get it to start. after that, couldnt get the shift to go out of park, yes i had lights in the dash saying brake over ride malfunction or something like that. so i had to pull the little plug out and push down on whatever to shift. took to toyota place to repair and it cost me 60.21 because it was my fault. the repair bill said " replaced mpx under dash changed location of stop lamp fuse into proper spot". i asked them if they would put the rest of my led's in since obviously i am not keen on this. they said they couldnt put anything in other than what it calls for and if i put the led's in it that it could void my warranty. now im thinking about taking my plate led's back out and putting the oems back in or taking it to a stereo/led man here in town that everybody says does great work. also dont even know if the plate canbus led is right. some one on this forum says he is going with the 194 and he may know something. and back to the license plate light, dont know if it can be done but if we could pop off the clear cover on the bumper, it may be a simple change?

Just a follow up on the back dome light size. I tried a 31mm like the original post said which was too big. After trying smaller and smaller sizes I finally ended up with a 28mm. It fits perfectly. Superbrightleds did not have a 28 but I found one on Amazon. Hopefully this will save someone else some trouble.

Couldn't help but notice that all the part numbers you listed were for canbus compatible bulbs. Was there a reason you selected canbus bulbs?

According to tech specs on super bright led website, most of the lights available in natural white produce more lumens (brightness) than cool white. But I do like the look of cool white better.

I liked the cool white except for the vanity mirror lights. it's like they almost have a hint of purple.

No, don't do that. Use the part numbers the OP posted. Go to their site, click search and type the part number in verbatim and you'll get exactly what you need. FYI I also recommend upgrading your reverse lights. They're 194/921 style. Search for either, but those bulbs are all fairly compatible, just vary in size. I LOVE super bright back up lights, so I went with WLED-W19-T bulbs. A bit pricey, but they produce almost 300 lumens each, 4-5x more lumens than the bulbs listed by the OP for the plate lights

So I got my interior lights all done, was simple enough, especially thanks to this thread. The tape around the map lights was A+! I taped it, let it settle for a moment and then used the grip of the tape and wiggle/pulled those suckers right out. The dome light used by the OP, was in fact, I found to be a bit larger than it should be. It did go in, slightly sideways but it works, so I'll leave it for now.

I have the TRD Sport Premium pack, so my dome light is a bit recessed due to the sunroof, but looking for the little indents is where I was able to slip my flat head screwdriver into and the cover popped right off without issue.

Vanity lights were super easy, and I find them perfectly fine to use still. The brightness isn't distracting.
Tomorrow when I have sunlight, I'll be tackling the rear plate lights, using the directions I've read earlier in the thread, so here's to that!

So was working on the plate lights and I didn't measure the length of the old vs the LED, and then ran out of time as I had to get to a dinner. I was able to swap one side so far, going in under the truck and turning the socket, then pulling them out seemed to work. Getting it back in, was a little trickier. Anyone else who has done this already, does the LED slot back in perfect, or does it sort of stick out a little more? I'll try and get a picture tomorrow if required. I was able to drive to the dinner and back home and the light didn't move or anything, so maybe it's secure enough, but I just wanted to hear others results. Tomorrow morning I plan on tackling the other side and will compare the bulbs a bit better and try to snap a picture of the end result.
