So how the hell do I make this guy work? Do I need an amp? Or did you just splice in a 3.5mm jack?

 

No amp needed, but your CB probably only puts out 5 watts or so to the pa. You'll need some wire, anything will work, and then just solder in a mono 3.5mm plug. I have one with wire I can get you after thanksgiving.

Oh, and how the hell do I wire this switch? The prong configuration is different than my other carlings?

 

OK, thats what I was thinking. Did you ever use it? Did it work well enough that way?

Mounted under the hood, with no amp, you couldn't hear it over the engine running. At 100w it would be deafening.
