    So this is going to sound stupid but ive=had my truck for like 4 yrs and i have no idea what the etc button does....IVE NEVER USED IT!! its an 04 limited dcab 2wd trd package

    yeah theyre pre set shift points

    it allows your truck to rev a little higher prior to shifting to squeeze a little more torque out so you have more pulling power when towing
