Can you get a 2016 access cab Pre-Runner?

Is toyota still making the pre-runner packages? Thanks for any info...

 

All 2wds now are pre-runners, essentially.

 

The Prerunner (6 lug) was basically a 2 wheel drive truck with the 4x4 suspension as opposed to the base truck (5 lug). Prerunners had 16 or 17 inch wheels and the base truck had 15s. Since Toyota no longer builds the 5 lug trucks, all 2wheel drive trucks are basically Pre-runners, although they've dropped the name.

 

Even though they've dropped the name, I thought the 2wd sport package on the '16 was considered the "prerunner"? Or did I dream this?

 

Hey cool I can tell people I have a final production year Pre-Runner now...so fancy

 

Nothing on Toyota's website says "Prerunner" anymore - they just call it a 4x2 or RWD truck. They don't make a truck that has the lower stance the 2nd gen 5-lugs had.

No you can't. Not in the 2nd gen section anyway.

I have looked all over online. Cant seem to find 2WD with a sport package in access cab
Wonder if its something you have to order? Im looking in nj,md,pa or delaware
If someone finds a link for one please let me know...thanks
